Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt

We are going to have a neighborhood Easter Egg hunt this year. I can't think of a better way to get everyone together and have some fun...

I am a little wary of using real eggs, and have talked to the neighbors about this. Everyone is in agreement that using plastic eggs filled with small goodies would be better. I think the kids like them better anyway. Who wouldn't want to have candy and little toys over some smelly old egg? We have kids of all ages on our block, so we are going to color code the hunt so that the little ones will have a fair chance at getting some goodies too.

I am always up for neighborhood get togethers and with the weather finally improving and the days getting longer, this will be an especially fun way catch up with everyone on the block.
