What Would You Do?

I am looking for your responses on these two scenarios. There are no wrong answers.

1. You are shopping in Target and as you near the toy section you hear a loud smack, a child crying and with your next step you see a mother pulling her son up off the ground. He is in tears and you can see he has been spanked. What do you do?

2. You are at a wildlife sanctuary and you are quietly watching a great horned owl with your daughter. You hear some piercing screams in the direction of the eagle exhibit and you wonder what kind of bird makes that noise. After a few minutes you realize that it is not a bird making those noises, and you walk towards the sound to find a family near the golden eagle. The daughter, about 7 years old, is screaming at the bird, who is trying to get as far away as possible but can't because he is in a cage, and you see that the parents are there. In fact, the father is taking photos of the terrorized bird.
